A Ladson, SC company, Force Protection recieved a contract for 1000 military, bomb resistant vehicles this week. This is pretty big news given that they produced 286 vehicles all of last year. They’ve had zero fatalities so far in Afghanistan and Iraq. The vehicles and it’s occupants usually need some repairs after an IED explosion, but both survive.
